Prism, West Coast Canadian rock group formed in Vancouver by producer Bruce Fairbairn. The group - consisting of singer Ron Tabak, lead guitarist Lindsay Mitchell, rhythm guitarist Allan Harlow, drummer Rocket Norton and John Hall on keyboards - had several hit singles and albums in Canada beginning with their self-titled debut album. The release of the follow up album, See Forever Eyes, in 1978 coincided with a minor breakthrough for the group in the US. A powerful third album featuring the single "Armageddon" recorded with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra proved to be the career highpoint for the band. Tabak was replaced with singer Henry Small in 1981; however the move was unsuccessful and the original band soon broke up.
