Paula Ross Dance Company
Paula Ross Dance Company, founded in the mid-1960s, incorporated 1973, was one of the few Canadian dance groups with a clearly defined movement style and artistic point of view. Despite many difficult years of financial and organizational problems, Paula Ross created a large repertoire of work reflecting her personal vision and her commitment to social and political issues. She received the Jean A. Chalmers Award for Choreography in 1977. The company has been inactive since 1986.
